An unexpectedly hard shot by Eduard Turcescu in the 3rd minute of play forced Rebcos Ciuchici's goalkeeper Mihăiţă Avramescu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Dinu Colin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 11th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. The supporters of Curtuiuseni booed when Rebcos Ciuchici was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 17 match minutes in a wonderful position. Florin Tăbăcaru didn't get a good kick on the ball. Niculae Apetroaiei might have been able to make a better finish in the 20th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Luca Niță. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Niculae Apetroaiei ran back to his position shaking his head. Luca Niță showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Emílio Teixeira, who was totally free with the ball in the 21st minute. After 27 minutes, Gabriel Berbec mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Curtuiuseni and the Rebcos Ciuchici players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 27th match minute, Curtuiuseni was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gabriel Berbec to maneuver through the defense. Mihăiţă Avramescu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Eduard Turcescu, who was totally free with the ball in the 29th minute. If Gavril Iacobeanu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 30th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Luca Niță was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Emílio Teixeira showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-1 in the 37 minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Curtuiuseni's zone, Niculae Apetroaiei stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Luca Niță came out of the goal and Niculae Apetroaiei tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Robert Comarnescu kicked well hit freekick during the 47th minute of the match. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

The wind increased when Ernest Boia made the kick off in the second half. Niculae Apetroaiei struck a weak shot in the 52nd minute. Luca Niță didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Rebcos Ciuchici. After having played for 54 minutes, Dinu Colin managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Curtuiuseni's supporters crossed their fingers, but Dinu Colin was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 66 minutes into the match, Curtuiuseni's goal looked a bit too open when Emílio Teixeira came free, but Luca Niță reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 67 minutes into the match, Niculae Apetroaiei notched a goal, 2-1, to the right of Curtuiuseni's Luca Niță. Luca Niță was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After a defensive mix-up in Curtuiuseni's zone, Niculae Apetroaiei stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Luca Niță came out of the goal and Niculae Apetroaiei tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 73rd minute Gavril Iacobeanu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Luca Niță saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Dinu Colin struck a weak shot in the 75th minute. Mihăiţă Avramescu didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Curtuiuseni. Mihăiţă Avramescu made a fantastic save in the 80th minute, when Dinu Colin sent off a good shot on target. After 85 played minutes Rebcos Ciuchici got a freekick which was hit by Cristi Buș. The supporters of Curtuiuseni booed when Rebcos Ciuchici was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 86 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cristi Buș didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Robert Comarnescu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 87th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 92nd minute, Dinu Colin hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field.
