Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) 4 minutes into the match, Curtuiuseni's goalkeeper Luca Niță had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Iordache Codrescu. Eduard Turcescu struck a weak shot in the 7th minute. Aurel Finteșteanu didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Curtuiuseni. An unexpectedly hard shot by Eduard Turcescu in the 8th minute of play forced Hamba CSM's goalkeeper Aurel Finteșteanu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 10 played minutes Curtuiuseni got a freekick which was hit by Robert Comarnescu. Costică Panțuru could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 11th minute of the match, but Luca Niță made a huge save. Luca Niță made a fantastic save in the 21st minute, when Costică Panțuru sent off a good shot on target. In the 23rd minute, Hamba CSM's Manole Udurbac ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Luca Niță. Luca Niță yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. 25 minutes into the game, Manole Udurbac recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Luca Niță. Manole Udurbac showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-0. In the 29th match minute, Hamba CSM was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dan Stănciulaş to maneuver through the defense. Curtuiuseni's Luca Niță proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 38th minute of the match, managed to save Curtuiuseni from getting a goal against them. A collision led to Curtuiuseni getting a freekick after 39 minutes play. Marin Ghișe hit a great ball. In the 41st minute Manole Udurbac shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Luca Niță saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Luca Niță made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Manole Udurbac in the 44th minute of play. Luca Niță made a fantastic save in the 46th minute, when Costică Panțuru sent off a good shot on target. 48 minutes into the game, Horia Tomozei recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Luca Niță. Horia Tomozei showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 3-0. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Manole Udurbac stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After 55 played minutes Hamba CSM got a freekick which was hit by Horia Tomozei. After 56 minutes, Eduard Turcescu mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Curtuiuseni and the Hamba CSM players grew even worse after the yellow card. Eduard Turcescu kicked well hit freekick during the 56th minute of the match. Curtuiuseni's Luca Niță played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Costică Panțuru in the 57th minute of play. Hamba CSM's Aurel Finteșteanu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Marin Ghișe in the 60th minute of play. The supporters of Hamba CSM booed when Curtuiuseni was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 65 match minutes in a wonderful position. Emanuel Tomoiu didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 74 played minutes Curtuiuseni got a freekick which was hit by Emilian Albescu. In the 75th minute of the match Iordache Codrescu sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Luca Niță skillfully saved the ball. After 75 played minutes Curtuiuseni got a freekick which was hit by Robert Comarnescu. Curtuiuseni's Luca Niță played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Horia Tomozei in the 79th minute of play. Aurel Finteșteanu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Eduard Turcescu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a defensive mix-up in Curtuiuseni's zone, Horia Tomozei stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Luca Niță came out of the goal and Horia Tomozei tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Luca Niță didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Horia Tomozei went, in the 86th minute, to the upper right corner, 4-0 was the resulting score. 90 minutes into the match, Curtuiuseni's goal looked a bit too open when Manole Udurbac came free, but Luca Niță reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 91st minute, Robert Comarnescu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 93rd minute Manole Udurbac shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Luca Niță saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some careless play in the Curtuiuseni defense, Manole Udurbac kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Luca Niță. The Curtuiuseni fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Luca Niță should have stopped the shot. In the 97th minute Manole Udurbac shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Luca Niță saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When the referee ended the match the Hamba CSM players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
