Spectators: 6706 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1706, VIP seats: 0) Virgil Giurcă showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bogdan Beca in the 3rd minute of the match. Aurel Mihuleac fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 4th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Virgil Giurcă having to interfere. Cezar Arseni scored 0-1 in the 6th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Virgil Giurcă, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. When Cezar Arseni came up free with the goalie in the 10th minute, the Antas fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Cezar Arseni couldn't finish the play. Francisc Oanță's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Costică Cazan read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 12th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Antas's Romeo Şteţ got a free kick in the 13th minute. Teascu's Virgil Giurcă played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Aurel Mihuleac in the 16th minute of play. With a little luck, Antas's Costică Cazan got control of the ball when Marius Teleagă tried to sneak it across the goal line. The supporters of Antas booed when Teascu was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 19 match minutes in a wonderful position. Teodor Panțâru didn't get a good kick on the ball. Nicolae Gâgea, 20 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. After a rather tough play, Antas's Romeo Şteţ got a free kick in the 23rd minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Aurel Mihuleac in the 26th minute of play forced Teascu's goalkeeper Virgil Giurcă to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Octav Foltea fell near the penalty area in the 29th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Teascu's protests and gave Octav Foltea a yellow card for diving instead. After 29 played minutes Teascu got a freekick which was hit by Octav Foltea. 30 minutes into the match, Aurel Mihuleac had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Virgil Giurcă. Teascu's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Aurel Mihuleac was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. In the 33rd match minute, Teascu was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cezar Gherase to maneuver through the defense. Antas's Cezar Arseni got a good chance for a goal in the 38th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 40th minute, Cezar Arseni ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Virgil Giurcă was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-3. After the first half Antas were leading 0-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Francisc Oanță to make the kick off. If Aurel Mihuleac had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 62nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Cezar Arseni could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 70th minute of the match, but Virgil Giurcă made a huge save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Marius Teleagă in the 75th minute of play forced Antas's goalkeeper Costică Cazan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 76th minute, Cezar Arseni managed to get in a good position for a shot. Antas's supporters rose to their feet, but Cezar Arseni was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Virgil Giurcă breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Cezar Arseni sent away a hard shot on goal in the 82nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Teascu's defense didn't have a chance, in the 84th minute, when Aurel Mihuleac scored to the left of an out of position Virgil Giurcă, making the score, 0-5. If Dinu Baltian had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 89th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Aurel Mihuleac in the 91st minute of play forced Teascu's goalkeeper Virgil Giurcă to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 93 minutes into the match, Antas's goal looked a bit too open when Marius Teleagă came free, but Costică Cazan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Aurel Mihuleac recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 95th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Antas's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
