An unexpectedly hard shot by Codrin Ivăncioiu in the 3rd minute of play forced Nocrich's goalkeeper Ionică Ilieș to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Emilian Mărăscus short, quick shot in the 4thth minute got Ionică Ilieș to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Emilian Mărăscu who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 6thth minute tested the skills of Ionică Ilieș when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Ionică Ilieș made an important save on a dangerous shot by Emilian Mărăscu in the 10th minute. Ionică Ilieș showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Codrin Ivăncioiu in the 14th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Singeorge's Pompiliu Bleoancă got a free kick in the 16th minute. Singeorge's Bogdan Stelea played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Niculae Babarada in the 17th minute of play. Emilian Mărăscu could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 21st minute of the match, but Ionică Ilieș made a huge save. After 21 minutes, Radu Macavei mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Nocrich and the Singeorge players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Nocrich's Radu Macavei got a free kick in the 21st minute. Ionică Ilieș showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Codrin Ivăncioiu, who was totally free with the ball in the 22nd minute. If Codrin Ivăncioiu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 24th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Emilian Mărăscu who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 34thth minute tested the skills of Ionică Ilieș when he managed to save the team from getting behind. An unexpected shot in the 39th minute by Emilian Mărăscu got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Florin Burdujan to make the kick off. After 51 played minutes Nocrich got a freekick which was hit by Radu Macavei. Codrin Ivăncioiu recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 52nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 58 minutes into the game, Codrin Ivăncioiu cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-0. Ionică Ilieș was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Singeorge's Emilian Mărăscu got a good chance for a goal in the 63rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Ionică Ilieș stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Emilian Mărăscu's shot from short distance in the 68th minute. After 69 minutes, Radu Uduleanu mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Nocrich and the Singeorge players grew even worse after the yellow card. Florin Burdujan charged in rather forcefully in the 71st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Florin Burdujan the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Florin Burdujan hit a great freekick 71 minutes into the match. After 72 minutes of play, Singeorge's Codrin Ivăncioiu made it 5-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Ionică Ilieș was left in no man's land by his defense there! After a rather tough play, Nocrich's Radu Uduleanu got a free kick in the 81st minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 86th minute, Radu Macavei managed to get in a good position for a shot. Nocrich's supporters rose to their feet, but Radu Macavei was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Bogdan Stelea breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 90th minute Emilian Mărăscu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ionică Ilieș saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When the match had gone on for 91 minutes, Codrin Ivăncioiu put it in 6-0 from a short distance just to the right of Ionică Ilieș. Singeorge walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
