Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

After a defensive mix-up in Funeral Orchestra's zone, Emanuel Hurdubețiu stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Emanuel Olaru came out of the goal and Emanuel Hurdubețiu tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Emanuel Olaru showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Traian Pădure in the 55th minute of the match. 63 minutes into the match, Traian Pădure had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Emanuel Olaru. Funeral Orchestra's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Traian Pădure was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-1. Funeral Orchestra's Emanuel Olaru played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Emanuel Hurdubețiu in the 69th minute of play. When the match had gone on for 71 minutes, Octavian Isaicu took a quick shot and it went in 2-2 without a chance for Emilian Marica to make any attempt to save it. 74 minutes into the match, Cerisor SC's goalkeeper Emilian Marica had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Iurie Arosculesei. Alexandru Frumușanu's late challenge caught a Funeral Orchestra's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Emanuel Olaru was left in no man's land by his defense there! After 90 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Funeral Orchestra! In the 95th match minute, Funeral Orchestra was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dragoş Chindriș to maneuver through the defense.
