Horia Nechifor hit a great ball. When Robert Emilianu fell near the penalty area in the 11th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Gruni's protests and gave Robert Emilianu a yellow card for diving instead. In the 11th minute, Robert Emilianu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 12 minutes into the match, Beleti's Albert Maftei broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. Alin Arșanu might have been able to make a better finish in the 21st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Marius Pădureanu. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Alin Arșanu ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 24th match minute, Gruni was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sergiu Teodoreanu to maneuver through the defense. Grigore Negrițoiu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 31st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Adam Torouţ having to interfere. Mihail Giuverdea didn't get a good kick on the ball. 74 minutes into the match, Gruni's goal looked a bit too open when Sever Gugulanu came free, but Marius Pădureanu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Grigore Negrițoiu charged in rather forcefully in the 75th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. Marius Pădureanu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alin Arșanu, who was totally free with the ball in the 88th minute.
