Lucrețiu Opriș showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ionel Herescu, who was totally free with the ball in the 16th minute. Octavian Condescu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 21st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Adam Torouţ having to interfere. 25 minutes into the match, F.C. Barbosii Constanta's goal looked a bit too open when Sever Gugulanu came free, but Lucrețiu Opriș reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Sever Gugulanu in the 25th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Lucrețiu Opriș prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The supporters of Beleti booed when F.C. Barbosii Constanta was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 26 match minutes in a wonderful position. Claudiu Podgoreanu didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 28th match minute, F.C. Barbosii Constanta was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Pavel Iovulescu to maneuver through the defense. After a defensive mix-up in F.C. Barbosii Constanta's zone, Albert Maftei stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Lucrețiu Opriș came out of the goal and Albert Maftei tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Alin Arșanu took the ball and in the 31 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Lucrețiu Opriș. Lucrețiu Opriș dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. 39 minutes into the game, Octavian Condescu recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Adam Torouţ. Octavian Condescu showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-1. Adam Torouţ took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Claudiu Cigu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Octavian Condescu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 44th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 48 minutes into the game, Claudiu Cigu cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-1. Adam Torouţ was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-1.

The audience was convinced that Claudiu Cigu's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Adam Torouţ was relentless in the 75th minute of the game. Lucrețiu Opriș showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sever Gugulanu, who was totally free with the ball in the 81st minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Claudiu Cigu in the 82nd minute of play forced Beleti's goalkeeper Adam Torouţ to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Adam Torouţ stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Claudiu Cigu's shot from short distance in the 83rd minute.
