Spectators: 7423 (Terracing: 5575, Seating: 1700, VIP seats: 148) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Ilie Nedelcu kicked off to start the match. Percy Urbano made in the 14th minute of the game a quick throw-in and Bartolo Senin immediately put the ball in play. Claudiu Oancea received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 16th minute. Rareș Nenițescu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Claudiu Oancea who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 22ndth minute tested the skills of Rareș Nenițescu when he managed to save the team from getting behind. If Ilie Nedelcu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 23rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Rareș Nenițescu made an important save on a dangerous shot by Claudiu Oancea in the 30th minute. Claudiu Oancea fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 35th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rareș Nenițescu having to interfere. In the 45th minute, Ilie Nedelcu reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Rareș Nenițescu. The goal made the score 2-0. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

In the 52nd minute, Paul Dobre left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Balkan Timisoara fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-0. Rareș Nenițescu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ilie Nedelcu in the 56th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Claudiu Oancea in the 85th minute of play forced Valenii AS's goalkeeper Rareș Nenițescu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
