Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Răzvan Ţipirig in the 7th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Abdul Rahman Al Safi prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Abdul Rahman Al Safi stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Răzvan Ţipirig's shot from short distance in the 13th minute. Narcis Răţescu kicked well hit freekick during the 17th minute of the match. 20 minutes into the game, Edgar Buzincu was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Burla's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave VIITORUL SiBIU the free kick. In the 20th match minute, Burla was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Edgar Buzincu to maneuver through the defense. In the 25th minute Edgar Buzincu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Augustin Tulbure saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience was convinced that Răzvan Ţipirig's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Abdul Rahman Al Safi was relentless in the 29th minute of the game. If Răzvan Ţipirig had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 31st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in VIITORUL SiBIU reached it. Răzvan Ţipirig struck a weak shot in the 37th minute. Abdul Rahman Al Safi didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for VIITORUL SiBIU. Abdul Rahman Al Safi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Răzvan Ţipirig in the 39th minute of the match. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

Ovidiu Trapcea came free with the goalkeeper in the 69th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Abdul Rahman Al Safi could save by the left post. The audience thought a goal was coming when Răzvan Ţipirig got free with Abdul Rahman Al Safi in the 71st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Răzvan Ţipirig in the 78th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Abdul Rahman Al Safi saved Burla from getting behind. Augustin Tulbure showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tibor Bihari in the 86th minute of the match. When Leonard Jupân fell near the penalty area in the 87th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored VIITORUL SiBIU's protests and gave Leonard Jupân a yellow card for diving instead. 89 minutes into the match, VIITORUL SiBIU's goal looked a bit too open when Klaas Bulder came free, but Augustin Tulbure reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Abdul Rahman Al Safi stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Răzvan Ţipirig's shot from short distance in the 97th minute. Burla's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
