Virgil Pitiș tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Virgil Pitiș stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Ionel Măliță's shot from short distance in the 31st minute. With a little luck, FC MONOLIT BRAILA's Virgil Pitiș got control of the ball when Doru Savin tried to sneak it across the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ionel Măliță in the 46th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Virgil Pitiș saved FC MONOLIT BRAILA from getting behind. 46 minutes into the game, Avram Zâncă was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. FC MONOLIT BRAILA's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Jebucul AC the free kick. The supporters of Jebucul AC booed when FC MONOLIT BRAILA was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 47 match minutes in a wonderful position. Avram Zâncă didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 49th minute, Ionel Măliță got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After the first half FC MONOLIT BRAILA were leading 1-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Virgil Pitiș showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ionel Măliță, who was totally free with the ball in the 74th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ionel Măliță in the 77th minute of play forced FC MONOLIT BRAILA's goalkeeper Virgil Pitiș to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 81st minute the ball was on its way in behind Jebucul AC's goalkeeper Mihail Tâbârnă, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. With a little luck, Jebucul AC's Mihail Tâbârnă got control of the ball when Petre Ivașcu tried to sneak it across the goal line. Petre Ivașcu recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 85th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 87 minutes in the game, Doru Savin dribbled his way through the penalty area and after maneuvering past an opponent, drilled a quick shot at the goal. The ball looked like it was going in, but it was hit a bit too hard and flew over the goal. Ionel Măliță fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 90th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Virgil Pitiș having to interfere. Mihail Tâbârnă came out of the goal in the 95th minute to try and stop a shot by FC MONOLIT BRAILA's Petre Ivașcu. But to his dismay, Petre Ivașcu quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-3. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. FC MONOLIT BRAILA walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
