The audience was convinced that Gheorghe Roşca's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Marius Elian was relentless in the 7th minute of the game. In the 13th minute, Marcu Măgureanu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. FC Adi's Marius Elian played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Eliodor Gorcea in the 14th minute of play. After 18 minutes of play FC Adi's Marcu Măgureanu was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. Marcu Măgureanu kicked well hit freekick during the 19th minute of the match. Vlasia AC's Damian Agrigoroaiei couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 20th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for FC Adi. Augustin Moșneanu recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 32nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 34th minute Gheorghe Roşca shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marius Elian saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Gheorghe Roşca had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Dan Gheban took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Valentin Ionășescu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Eliodor Gorcea in the 43rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Marius Elian saved FC Adi from getting behind. When Eliodor Gorcea came up free with the goalie in the 46th minute, the Vlasia AC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Eliodor Gorcea couldn't finish the play. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

After having played for 55 minutes, Eliodor Gorcea managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Vlasia AC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Eliodor Gorcea was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 58th play minute Eliodor Gorcea came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Marius Elian. 0-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gheorghe Roşca in the 62nd minute of play forced FC Adi's goalkeeper Marius Elian to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 67 minutes into the match, FC Adi's goalkeeper Marius Elian had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Eliodor Gorcea. Gheorghe Roşca blasted a shot towards the goal in the 68th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Marius Elian having to make a save. Eliodor Gorcea scored 0-2 in the 68th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Marius Elian, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. If Eliodor Gorcea had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 76th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 80th minute, Gheorghe Roşca got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 85 minutes, Laurențiu Buzescu mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the FC Adi and the Vlasia AC players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Vlasia AC booed when FC Adi was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 86 match minutes in a wonderful position. Laurențiu Buzescu didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 87th minute, Eliodor Gorcea managed to get in a good position for a shot. Vlasia AC's supporters rose to their feet, but Eliodor Gorcea was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Marius Elian breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. An unexpectedly hard shot by Felix Petrean in the 89th minute of play forced FC Adi's goalkeeper Marius Elian to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Radu Maiorescu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 93rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
