Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Costel Stanciu got the match started through his kick off. The supporters of Girceni booed when Argeaua AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 6 match minutes in a wonderful position. Codrin Ştiubei didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Costel Stanciu came up free with the goalie in the 9th minute, the Girceni fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Costel Stanciu couldn't finish the play. Sebastian Onciu charged in rather forcefully in the 11th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Sebastian Onciu the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Ilie Tufescu struck a weak shot in the 12th minute. Robert Pască didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Argeaua AFC. If Mircea Ciulei had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 14th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 17th minute Dorel Colceriu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Codrin Antohi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Mircea Ciulei in the 23rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Robert Pască saved Girceni from getting behind. If Costel Stanciu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 27th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 28th match minute, Argeaua AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Codrin Ştiubei to maneuver through the defense. In the 30th minute Dorel Colceriu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Codrin Antohi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After having played for 35 minutes, Costel Stanciu managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Girceni's supporters crossed their fingers, but Costel Stanciu was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Ilie Tufescu's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 37thth minute, Robert Pască skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Robert Pască showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mircea Ciulei in the 38th minute of the match. Ilie Tufescu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 40th minute. Robert Pască tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Costel Stanciu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 45th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

In the 58th minute the ball was on its way in behind Argeaua AFC's goalkeeper Codrin Antohi, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. An unexpected shot in the 60th minute by Dorel Colceriu got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Codrin Antohi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Costel Stanciu in the 67th minute of the match. In the 76th minute, Nicolae Receanu made a precise shot to the right of Codrin Antohi. Argeaua AFC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. Codrin Antohi took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Costel Stanciu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Mircea Ciulei had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 82nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Traian Muraru's late challenge caught a Girceni's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Traian Muraru helped the player get up and apologised. In the 84th minute, Traian Muraru hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Sebastian Onciu kicked well hit freekick during the 87th minute of the match. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Girceni walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
