Spectators: 6690 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1690, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Grigore Oroian made the kick off which started today's match. In the 6th minute, Gică Ghizdeanu got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. DropDead's attack was well implemented in the 12th minute, but when Grigore Oroian was about to shoot he didn't get a good hit on the ball and it hit the crossbar and flew over. Goal Kick. The supporters of DropDead booed when Samaila was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 17 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gică Suluțiu didn't get a good kick on the ball. 20 minutes into the match, Samaila's goal looked a bit too open when Grigore Oroian came free, but Cătălin Tăzlăuanu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Emanuel Grigoroiu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 21st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cătălin Tăzlăuanu having to interfere. DropDead's Veselin Bradinski played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Manole Siteavu in the 29th minute of play. Grigore Oroian blasted a shot towards the goal in the 30th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Cătălin Tăzlăuanu having to make a save. When Lucrețiu Niculiță fell near the penalty area in the 31st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored DropDead's protests and gave Lucrețiu Niculiță a yellow card for diving instead. In the 31st match minute, DropDead was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Lucrețiu Niculiță to maneuver through the defense. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Manole Siteavu was the one to do the kick off. After 52 minutes, Dorel Zbuchea mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Samaila and the DropDead players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Samaila's Dorel Zbuchea got a free kick in the 52nd minute. Veselin Bradinski showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Matei Voinea in the 54th minute of the match. Eusebiu Arosculesei could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 55th minute of the match, but Cătălin Tăzlăuanu made a huge save. After having played for 57 minutes, Sorin Romulus managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. DropDead's Leontin Merișor shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 87th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Cătălin Tăzlăuanu but with some difficulty. Grigore Oroian received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 89th minute. Cătălin Tăzlăuanu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 90 minutes into the match, DropDead's Gică Ghizdeanu sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Cătălin Tăzlăuanu narrowly saved just below the crossbar.
