In the 8th match minute, Sendriceni was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Flavius Zăvoiu to maneuver through the defense. Cristi Bârlea received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 9th minute. Irinel Săndulescu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Costani AC's Constantin Hirean in the 11th minute got a chance for a shot 11th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Sendriceni's goalie prevented a goal. Mihăiţă Hârșu hit a great freekick 11 minutes into the match. If Constantin Hirean had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 13th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Irinel Săndulescu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Eric Huțanu, who was totally free with the ball in the 16th minute. Eliodor Onișoru stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Nicu Stelea's shot from short distance in the 18th minute. Cristi Bârlea received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 25th minute. Irinel Săndulescu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The supporters of Costani AC booed when Sendriceni was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 27 match minutes in a wonderful position. Valeriu Onea didn't get a good kick on the ball. Constantin Hirean might have been able to make a better finish in the 28th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Irinel Săndulescu. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Constantin Hirean ran back to his position shaking his head. Cristi Bârlea in the 29thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Irinel Săndulescu, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Eliodor Onișoru came out of the goal in the 43rd minute to try and stop a shot by Sendriceni's Nicu Stelea. But to his dismay, Nicu Stelea quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. A hard shot 47 in the game by Cristi Bârlea from a close distance when the talented Irinel Săndulescu managed to make a qualified save. Sendriceni's players were relieved. After the first half Sendriceni were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Constantin Hirean stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd minute Constantin Hirean shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Irinel Săndulescu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Costani AC's Eliodor Onișoru proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 66th minute of the match, managed to save Costani AC from getting a goal against them. Irinel Săndulescu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Constantin Hirean, who was totally free with the ball in the 68th minute. Cristi Bârlea received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 75th minute. Irinel Săndulescu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Constantin Hirean in the 77th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Irinel Săndulescu prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The Costani AC fans' excitement grew in the 79th match minute when Costani AC's Constantin Hirean looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Irinel Săndulescu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cristi Bârlea in the 83rd minute of play. Constantin Hirean fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 94th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Irinel Săndulescu having to interfere. Cristi Bârlea received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 96th minute. Irinel Săndulescu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The second half was just like the first, even and exciting. The match ended in a draw.
