The ball looked like it was going in, but it was hit a bit too hard and flew over the goal. 32 minutes into the game, unirea tiganesti's Petre Chifu nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Doru Petruescu made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. Daniel Eniceicu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Doru Petruescu having to interfere. Ion Ciuvică hit a great freekick 41 minutes into the match. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Daniel Eniceicu couldn't finish the play. Doru Petruescu made an important save on a dangerous shot by Daniel Eniceicu in the 75th minute. In the 77thth minute of the game Daniel Eniceicu who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Viitorul Bucuresti's Doru Petruescu was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. unirea tiganesti's Ciprian Nistorescu was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Doru Petruescu in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. After 94 played minutes, Viitorul Bucuresti's Bogdan Todericiu shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Bogdan Popescu came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Viitorul Bucuresti reached it. After having played for 95 minutes, Vintilă Hrandabur managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Viitorul Bucuresti's supporters crossed their fingers, but Vintilă Hrandabur was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. unirea tiganesti's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
