Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Tudor Caranfil took the kick off in the first half of the match. Tudor Caranfil sent away a hard shot on goal in the 3rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Tudor Caranfil took the ball and in the 5 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Costel Duldurescu. Costel Duldurescu dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Vavalucile's Tudor Caranfil got a good chance for a goal in the 10th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 16 minutes Guroala's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Aurelian Văduvescu who took care of the corner kick. It was a well-played corner which Gigi Pârcălab managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. After some fancy dribbling in the 19th minute, Marin Iliuță managed to get in a good position for a shot. Vavalucile's supporters rose to their feet, but Marin Iliuță was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Costel Duldurescu breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 21st minute the ball was on its way in behind Guroala's goalkeeper Costel Duldurescu, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 27 minutes into the match, Guroala's Dorel Gârleanu sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Nae Ogică narrowly saved just below the crossbar. A collision led to Vavalucile getting a freekick after 29 minutes play. Aurelian Văduvescu hit a great ball. 30 minutes into the match, Vavalucile's goal looked a bit too open when Tudor Baștină came free, but Nae Ogică reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Nae Ogică showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tudor Baștină in the 31st minute of the match. 41 minutes into the match, Tudor Baștină dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Nae Ogică, 1-1. Tudor Baștină struck a weak shot in the 47th minute. Nae Ogică didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Guroala. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Tudor Baștină made a kick off. A hard shot 57 in the game by Marin Iliuță from a close distance when the talented Costel Duldurescu managed to make a qualified save. Guroala's players were relieved. Tudor Baștină recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 59th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Constantin Vasilescu kicked well hit freekick during the 60th minute of the match. In the 67th minute Tudor Caranfil shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Costel Duldurescu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Dorel Gârleanu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 73rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Aurelian Văduvescu lost his temper 76 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 75th minute of the game. One of Vavalucile:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Guroala:s goal. The referee gave Guroala a penalty, 78 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Petre Dedu, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Vavalucile's Nae Ogică. 3-1. If Tudor Baștină had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 81st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 84 minutes into the match, Vavalucile's goal looked a bit too open when Dorel Gârleanu came free, but Nae Ogică reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When the match clock showed 85 minutes, the score became 4-1 when Dorel Gârleanu sped through Vavalucile's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Nae Ogică. If Tudor Baștină had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 94th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After having played for 98 minutes, Tudor Baștină managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Guroala's supporters crossed their fingers, but Tudor Baștină was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Guroala's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
