The crowd rose to their feet as Maxim Damian kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Pompiliu Fetanu. That made the score 1-0 in the 3 minute of play. After 8 minutes, Valentin Romaşcanu mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Isvoarele and the F.C Brasov players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of F.C Brasov booed when Isvoarele was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 8 match minutes in a wonderful position. Valentin Romaşcanu didn't get a good kick on the ball. The crowd rose to their feet as Eugen Rădvan kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Pompiliu Fetanu. That made the score 5-0 in the 47 minute of play. Af the end of the first half the score was 5-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

A collision led to F.C Brasov getting a freekick after 54 minutes play. Iosif Gherguț hit a great ball. 56 minutes into the match, Eugen Rădvan notched a goal, 6-0, to the right of Isvoarele's Pompiliu Fetanu. Pompiliu Fetanu was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. When Gigel Nechifor fell near the penalty area in the 61st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored F.C Brasov's protests and gave Gigel Nechifor a yellow card for diving instead. After 63 played minutes F.C Brasov got a freekick which was hit by Maxim Damian. Isvoarele's Pompiliu Fetanu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Maxim Damian in the 67th minute of play. The supporters of F.C Brasov booed when Isvoarele was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 74 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ferdinand Enceanu didn't get a good kick on the ball. Pompiliu Fetanu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gigel Nechifor in the 77th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gigel Nechifor in the 82nd minute of play forced Isvoarele's goalkeeper Pompiliu Fetanu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 83rd minute, Maxim Damian left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The F.C Brasov fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 7-0. In the 88th minute Maxim Damian shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pompiliu Fetanu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Pompiliu Fetanu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Eugen Rădvan, who was totally free with the ball in the 94th minute. In the 97th minute, Gigel Nechifor ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Pompiliu Fetanu was frozen by the shot and now it was 8-0. F.C Brasov walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
