Marcel Miclovan recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 15th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Horaţiu Tiberiu in the 20th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Nistor Barboni saved Dumbravioara UFC from getting behind. Nistor Barboni showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Horaţiu Tiberiu in the 31st minute of the match. Nistor Barboni showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Horaţiu Tiberiu, who was totally free with the ball in the 41st minute. 43 minutes into the match, Dumbravioara UFC's goalkeeper Nistor Barboni had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Marcel Miclovan. Nistor Barboni was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Horaţiu Tiberiu showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-0 in the 47 minute of play. In the 56th minute Horaţiu Tiberiu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nistor Barboni saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Nistor Barboni made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Marcel Miclovan in the 60th minute of play. 60 minutes into the match, Dumbravioara UFC's goal looked a bit too open when Marcel Miclovan came free, but Nistor Barboni reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Marcel Miclovan fell near the penalty area in the 63rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Doaga UFC's protests and gave Marcel Miclovan a yellow card for diving instead. Nistor Dancu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 65th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Maxim Dănciulescu having to interfere. In the 67th minute the ball was on its way in behind Doaga UFC's goalkeeper Maxim Dănciulescu, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 68 minutes into the game, Nistor Dancu cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Maxim Dănciulescu was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Dumbravioara UFC made a substitution. Iurie Tomulescu replaced Gelu Hurmuzache. In the 78th minute, Dacian Turceanu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The audience was convinced that Horaţiu Tiberiu's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Nistor Barboni was relentless in the 79th minute of the game. Gigi Buzoianu's late challenge caught a Doaga UFC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. The supporters of Doaga UFC booed when Dumbravioara UFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 92 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gigi Buzoianu didn't get a good kick on the ball. Nistor Barboni showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Marcel Miclovan in the 94th minute of the match. If Călin Şelaru had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 96th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After 98 minutes, Mugurel Tătaru mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Doaga UFC and the Dumbravioara UFC players grew even worse after the yellow card. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
