Zorleni's Iacob Cimpoieru played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ilie Ardeleanu in the 17th minute of play. Iacob Cimpoieru took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Andrei Oncescu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 28th minute Codruț Petcu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Iacob Cimpoieru saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Codruț Petcu kicked well hit freekick during the 29th minute of the match. Florin Muslea received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 36th minute. Iacob Cimpoieru tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Iacob Cimpoieru showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ilie Ardeleanu, who was totally free with the ball in the 37th minute. A collision led to Zorleni getting a freekick after 38 minutes play. Marius Petrulean hit a great ball. After a rather tough play, Zorleni's Martin Alungulesei got a free kick in the 42nd minute. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

Sebastian Cînu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eliodor Lucaci in the 52nd minute of play. Dumitru Grama kicked well hit freekick during the 56th minute of the match. After 59 minutes, Martin Alungulesei mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Zorleni and the UFC Cetan players grew even worse after the yellow card. Martin Alungulesei hit a great freekick 59 minutes into the match. After 61 played minutes UFC Cetan got a freekick which was hit by Viorel Ivasiuc. Viorel Ivasiuc kicked well hit freekick during the 65th minute of the match. Sebastian Cînu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dumitru Grama in the 66th minute of the match. The supporters of Zorleni booed when UFC Cetan was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 67 match minutes in a wonderful position. Codruț Petcu didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Andrei Oncescu came up free with the goalie in the 71st minute, the UFC Cetan fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Andrei Oncescu couldn't finish the play. Florin Muslea received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 73rd minute. Zorleni's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Andrei Oncescu was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. Vlad Albuț hit a great freekick 78 minutes into the match. Florin Muslea sent away a hard shot on goal in the 84th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The UFC Cetan fans' excitement grew in the 86th match minute when UFC Cetan's Ilie Ardeleanu looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Eliodor Lucaci in the 90th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Sebastian Cînu prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Zorleni's Iacob Cimpoieru proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 94th minute of the match, managed to save Zorleni from getting a goal against them. Florin Muslea sent away a hard shot on goal in the 96th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A collision led to Zorleni getting a freekick after 97 minutes play. Lucrețiu Miulescu hit a great ball. The Zorleni fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. UFC Cetan were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
