Albert Alb kicked well hit freekick during the 2nd minute of the match. Leonard Săndulescu struck a weak shot in the 6th minute. Augustin Cumpanașu didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for F. C RAPID. After 8 played minutes Leonard Săndulescu rounded Musuroaie FCM's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 1-0. After some careless play in the F. C RAPID defense, Albert Alb kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Gavril Bobe. The F. C RAPID fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Gavril Bobe should have stopped the shot. In the 21st minute the ball was on its way in behind Musuroaie FCM's goalkeeper Augustin Cumpanașu, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Augustin Cumpanașu didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when F. C RAPID's Tudor Oroveanu shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 2-1 in the ordered_time% minute. Leonard Săndulescu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 25th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Leonard Săndulescu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 31st minute. Augustin Cumpanașu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Augustin Cumpanașu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Leonard Săndulescu in the 33rd minute of play. F. C RAPID's Ioan Dordea managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Iustin Turdeanu in the 35 minute of the game. Cosmin Udrea's late challenge caught a F. C RAPID's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Cosmin Udrea helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Musuroaie FCM getting a freekick after 39 minutes play. Cosmin Udrea hit a great ball. Leonard Săndulescu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 46th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Augustin Cumpanașu having to interfere. After 48 played minutes F. C RAPID got a freekick which was hit by Ioan Dordea. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Luca Nițisor to make the kick off. F. C RAPID's Leonard Săndulescu got a good chance for a goal in the 53rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Augustin Cumpanașu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Leonard Săndulescu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. During the 68th minute of the match Cosmin Udrea completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Cosmin Udrea a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. Cosmin Udrea kicked well hit freekick during the 69th minute of the match. When the match had gone on for 79 minutes, Tudor Oroveanu put it in 5-1 from a short distance just to the right of Augustin Cumpanașu. In the 85th minute, Tudor Oroveanu got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tudor Oroveanu in the 91st minute of play forced Musuroaie FCM's goalkeeper Augustin Cumpanașu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 96th minute, Musuroaie FCM's Marcu Hidiș seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Marcu Hidiș the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Musuroaie FCM protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Marcu Hidiș had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. Augustin Cumpanașu had in the 99thth minute some difficulties stopping Tudor Oroveanu's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. The excitement rose when F. C RAPID's Tudor Oroveanu after 99 played minutes turned away three defenders near the goal, and after that shot a ball that was too difficult for Musuroaie FCM's goalkeeper to hold. Score! 7-1. When the referee ended the match the F. C RAPID players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
