Spectators: 7320 (Terracing: 5549, Seating: 1701, VIP seats: 70) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Stelian Basarab took the kick off in the first half of the match. When Damian Şerban came up free with the goalie in the 6th minute, the Birlogu CS fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Damian Şerban couldn't finish the play. When the match had gone on for 6 minutes, Junior Caudrelier put it in 0-1 from a short distance just to the right of Damian Micu. -BFT- FC STEAUA's Damian Micu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Junior Caudrelier in the 10th minute of play. Jordy Bos showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Stelian Basarab in the 14th minute of the match. The audience was convinced that Junior Caudrelier's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Damian Micu was relentless in the 17th minute of the game. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Junior Caudrelier in the 18th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Damian Micu prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When Stelian Basarab fell near the penalty area in the 20th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored -BFT- FC STEAUA's protests and gave Stelian Basarab a yellow card for diving instead. After 21 played minutes -BFT- FC STEAUA got a freekick which was hit by Stelian Basarab. Damian Micu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Junior Caudrelier, who was totally free with the ball in the 23rd minute. Damian Şerban recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 25th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. -BFT- FC STEAUA's Damian Micu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Damian Şerban in the 34th minute of play. When Birlogu CS's Junior Caudrelier in the 35th minute got a chance for a shot 35th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye -BFT- FC STEAUA's goalie prevented a goal. Damian Bolcaș took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 41st minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Damian Micu. -BFT- FC STEAUA's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. A collision led to -BFT- FC STEAUA getting a freekick after 45 minutes play. Martin Boerescu hit a great ball. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Junior Caudrelier to make the kick off. The supporters of Birlogu CS booed when -BFT- FC STEAUA was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 52 match minutes in a wonderful position. Petre Patrichi didn't get a good kick on the ball. 55 minutes into the match, -BFT- FC STEAUA's goal looked a bit too open when Junior Caudrelier came free, but Damian Micu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Damian Micu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Junior Caudrelier in the 57th minute of the match. Ionuț Ţăranu kicked well hit freekick during the 58th minute of the match. -BFT- FC STEAUA's defense didn't have a chance, in the 64th minute, when Junior Caudrelier scored to the left of an out of position Damian Micu, making the score, 0-3. 72 minutes into the match, Birlogu CS's goal looked a bit too open when Nechifor Mărăcuță came free, but Jordy Bos reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 73rd minute, Birlogu CS's Damian Şerban ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Damian Micu. Damian Micu yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-4. 76 minutes into the match, -BFT- FC STEAUA's goal looked a bit too open when Damian Şerban came free, but Damian Micu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Stelian Basarab had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 79th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 81 minutes of play, Birlogu CS's Junior Caudrelier made it 0-5 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Damian Micu was left in no man's land by his defense there! 88 minutes into the match, -BFT- FC STEAUA's goal looked a bit too open when Damian Şerban came free, but Damian Micu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Damian Micu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Junior Caudrelier in the 89th minute of play. Birlogu CS played a much better game than -BFT- FC STEAUA and deserved their victory. The -BFT- FC STEAUA players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
