Sandu Răducu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 21st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Francisc Floricel having to interfere. The supporters of Uncesti booed when Chitcanii was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 22 match minutes in a wonderful position. Liviu Zdrenghea didn't get a good kick on the ball. Fabian Drogoreanu's late challenge caught a Chitcanii's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Fabian Drogoreanu helped the player get up and apologised. Mircea Ţirpescu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Basarab Tudor, who was totally free with the ball in the 26th minute. Narcis Boboc hit a great freekick 29 minutes into the match. In the 30th minute of the match, Sandu Răducu tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Francisc Floricel saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Basarab Tudor scored 0-2 in the 33rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Mircea Ţirpescu, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Francisc Miu kicked well hit freekick during the 39th minute of the match. Matei Bute scored 1-2 in the 42nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Francisc Floricel, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 45 minutes into the match, Chitcanii's goalkeeper Francisc Floricel had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Sandu Răducu. In the 46th match minute, Uncesti was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cazimir Teofil to maneuver through the defense. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-2.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Basarab Tudor to make the kick off. Martin Hurmuz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 62nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mircea Ţirpescu having to interfere. In the 67th minute Laurențiu Greavu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mircea Ţirpescu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Francisc Floricel made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Matei Bute in the 70th minute of play. After 71 played minutes Uncesti got a freekick which was hit by Fabian Drogoreanu. Mircea Ţirpescu made a fantastic save in the 74th minute, when Basarab Tudor sent off a good shot on target. Uncesti's Mircea Ţirpescu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Martin Hurmuz in the 77th minute of play. Sandu Răducu took the ball and in the 79 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Francisc Floricel. Francisc Floricel dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-2. In the 83rd minute Sandu Răducu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Francisc Floricel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Fabian Drogoreanu struck a weak shot in the 85th minute. Francisc Floricel didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Uncesti. Matei Bute fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 87th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Francisc Floricel having to interfere. After having played for 97 minutes, Martin Hurmuz managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Chitcanii's supporters crossed their fingers, but Martin Hurmuz was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The Chitcanii players were the happier at the end of the match as they had prevented Uncesti from taking control. The game ends in a draw.
