The referee ignored Latesti's protests and gave Vlad Ababei a yellow card for diving instead. In the 30th minute, Vlad Ababei hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Real Team's Avram Aplugăriței played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lucian Călin in the 34th minute of play. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Stelian Surdilă made a kick off. 52 minutes into the game, Iacob Mâinea cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 4-0. Cornel Udurbac was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. An unexpectedly hard shot by Iacob Mâinea in the 55th minute of play forced Latesti's goalkeeper Cornel Udurbac to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to Latesti getting a freekick after 60 minutes play. Iacob Creteanu hit a great ball. Stelian Surdilă fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 61st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cornel Udurbac having to interfere. Stelian Surdilă sent away a hard shot on goal in the 67th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. Avram Aplugăriței tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Tiberiu Curteanu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 82nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Avram Aplugăriței showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lucian Călin, who was totally free with the ball in the 85th minute. A collision led to Real Team getting a freekick after 86 minutes play. Octavian Encescu hit a great ball. After 89 minutes Real Team's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Iurie Albu who took care of the corner kick. Latesti's Iurie Albu was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Avram Aplugăriței in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. If Iacob Mâinea had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 96th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
