The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Emilian Marioteanu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 2nd minute. The Dalbosec FCM fans' excitement grew in the 15th match minute when Dalbosec FCM's Remus Popic looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Edgar Ozon fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 24th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Vlad Chirculescu having to interfere. If Lucian Călin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 25th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 28 minutes into the match, Lucian Călin notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of Dalbosec FCM's Vlad Chirculescu. Vlad Chirculescu was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 34th minute, Emilian Marioteanu ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Cornel Udurbac was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-1. If Remus Popic had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 39th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 46th minute Remus Popic shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cornel Udurbac saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-1 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Remus Popic was the one to do the kick off. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Remus Popic in the 52nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Cornel Udurbac prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 56th minute, Remus Popic made a precise shot to the right of Cornel Udurbac. Latesti's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-1. Iurie Albu hit a great freekick 62 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Remus Popic in the 71st minute of play forced Latesti's goalkeeper Cornel Udurbac to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Remus Popic sent away a hard shot on goal in the 78th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 81st minute, Edgar Ozon got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Vlad Chirculescu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lucian Călin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After having played for 88 minutes, Lucian Călin managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Latesti's supporters crossed their fingers, but Lucian Călin was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Emilian Marioteanu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to Latesti getting a freekick after 93 minutes play. Calistrat Tastaman hit a great ball. Emilian Marioteanu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 99th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
