The wind increased when Geert van der Saar made the kick off in the second half. Denis Liviu hit a great freekick 51 minutes into the match. FC G.C.I. BM's Vintilă Turdeanu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Erland Lundberg in the 53rd minute of play. Marius Balc made an important save on a dangerous shot by Markus Frank in the 81st minute. Irinel Albulescu's late challenge caught a FC G.C.I. BM's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Irinel Albulescu helped the player get up and apologised. In the 89th minute, Irinel Albulescu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A collision led to PHOENIX BUCURESTI getting a freekick after 90 minutes play.
