Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Florin Prunaru took the kick off in the first half of the match. In the 18th minute, Valentin Bălășoiu had to leave the field with a concussion. 18 minutes into the game, Sabin Cârneci was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Maxim Sărăroiu took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 38th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Emilian Filipașcu. Ariciul AS's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. 0-1 became the score in the 40th minute when Adam Pantilimon elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. After a defensive mix-up in Patule AS's zone, Romeo Schiau stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Augustin Blejan came out of the goal and Romeo Schiau tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 46th minute, Sandu Unciuleanu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Alexandru Vancea made a kick off. Niculae Hudiță recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 54th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 58th minute Niculae Hudiță shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Augustin Blejan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Alexandru Vancea in the 61st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Emilian Filipașcu prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 62 played minutes Patule AS's Adam Pantilimon stole the ball from his opponents and shot the ball towards the upper left corner, but Emilian Filipașcu stretched himself as far as he could, and stopped the ball from passing the line. robbing Ariciul AS of the goal. After 77 played minutes Ariciul AS got a freekick which was hit by Mircea Finteșteanu. In the 79th minute Niculae Hudiță shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Augustin Blejan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Niculae Hudiță received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 81st minute. Augustin Blejan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 85th minute, Niculae Hudiță got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Romeo Schiau sent away a hard shot on goal in the 88th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Sandu Unciuleanu hit a great freekick 94 minutes into the match. In the 95th minute, Remus Brumaru sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Patule AS's Augustin Blejan didn't even have to move.
