Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. When Costel Zeciu came up free with the goalie in the 15th minute, the Ficaresti fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Costel Zeciu couldn't finish the play. After 18 played minutes Ficaresti got a freekick which was hit by Cristi Boeru. Ovidiu Iosub took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from George Mihăilă, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ovidiu Iosub showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from George Mihăilă in the 27th minute of the match. In the 29th minute, David Stejaru made a precise shot to the right of Rareș Cristea. Ficaresti's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. George Mihăilă sent away a hard shot on goal in the 33rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by George Mihăilă in the 36th minute of play forced Cerbesti CF's goalkeeper Ovidiu Iosub to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. David Stejaru's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Rareș Cristea read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 45th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Ficaresti's Costel Zeciu got a free kick in the 46th minute.

The Cerbesti CF fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ovidiu Iosub should have stopped the shot. When Costel Zeciu came up free with the goalie in the 71st minute, the Ficaresti fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Costel Zeciu couldn't finish the play. Rareș Cristea stood somewhat misplaced when David Mineață came free in front of goal and shot 1-4 to the left of him in the 78 minute. A collision led to Ficaresti getting a freekick after 81 minutes play. Costel Zeciu hit a great ball. Rareș Cristea made a fantastic save in the 82nd minute, when David Mineață sent off a good shot on target. George Mihăilă sent away a hard shot on goal in the 86th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Stelian Nicorici sent away a hard shot on goal in the 88th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If David Mineață had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 91st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 94th minute, Costel Zeciu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Chants of Cerbesti CF echoed around the stadium as the match drew to a close. Supporters and players were both delighted with the win, as Ficaresti had held the ball for most of the match.
