Spectators: 6705 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1705, VIP seats: 0) Vintilă Staicu made the kick off and thus started the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Vintilă Staicu in the 3rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Martin Gorjanu saved Odoreul from getting behind. Nistor Iacob hit a great freekick 5 minutes into the match. Grigore Sava recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 6th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Martin Gorjanu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Grigore Sava in the 14th minute of the match. 16 minutes into the match, AFC Ajax's goal looked a bit too open when Paul Luncașu came free, but Emil Tomescu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Luca Bârsan struck a weak shot in the 17th minute. Emil Tomescu didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Odoreul. After 18 played minutes Odoreul got a freekick which was hit by Virgil Bondrea. Vintilă Staicu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 20th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Martin Gorjanu having to interfere. Emil Tomescu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Paul Luncașu in the 22nd minute of the match. The audience was convinced that Vintilă Staicu's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Martin Gorjanu was relentless in the 23rd minute of the game. Luca Bârsan's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 24thth minute, Emil Tomescu skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Luca Bârsan recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 26th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Emil Tomescu came out of the goal in the 28th minute to try and stop a shot by Odoreul's Luca Bârsan. But to his dismay, Luca Bârsan quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. In the 31st minute, Nistor Iacob hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a defensive mix-up in Odoreul's zone, Vintilă Staicu stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Martin Gorjanu came out of the goal and Vintilă Staicu tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Odoreul's Luca Bârsan got a good chance for a goal in the 42nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 44th minute, Paul Luncașu fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Emil Tomescu, passed just outside the right post. If Grigore Sava had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Vintilă Staicu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 55th minute. Martin Gorjanu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Martin Gorjanu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Valeriu Nicorici, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 68th minute, Felix Săliştean hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 72 minutes, Felix Săliştean mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the AFC Ajax and the Odoreul players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 71 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for AFC Ajax! The referee gave Odoreul a penalty, 74 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Remus Maxim, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of AFC Ajax's Emil Tomescu. 2-1. When AFC Ajax's Vintilă Staicu in the 81st minute got a chance for a shot 81st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Odoreul's goalie prevented a goal. AFC Ajax's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
