Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Jegheriste's Călin Panțâru started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. The supporters of Jegheriste booed when Odoreul was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 5 match minutes in a wonderful position. Virgil Bondrea didn't get a good kick on the ball. A hard shot by Gheorghe Zota from long distance, 6 minutes into the match, got Martin Gorjanu's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. Călin Panțâru was extremely unlucky when he, in the 9th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. 12 minutes into the game, Călin Panțâru recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Martin Gorjanu. Călin Panțâru showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. If Călin Panțâru had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 17th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 19th minute, Nistor Iacob hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 23 played minutes Jegheriste got a freekick which was hit by Petruț Vişan. 24 minutes in the game, the ball went up into the seats when Odoreul's Luca Bârsan fired away a shot that was just a little bit too high. He walked away shaking his head. When Odoreul's Luca Bârsan in the 27th minute got a chance for a shot 27th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Jegheriste's goalie prevented a goal. Andrei Şuplăcan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Paul Luncașu in the 28th minute of play. 30 minutes into the match, Odoreul's goal looked a bit too open when Călin Panțâru came free, but Martin Gorjanu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Paul Luncașu in the 35th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Andrei Şuplăcan prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Paul Luncașu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 36th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ferdinand Ciucă hit a great freekick 42 minutes into the match. A collision led to Odoreul getting a freekick after 46 minutes play. Vlad Bulzan hit a great ball. Martin Gorjanu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Călin Panțâru in the 47th minute of play. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Paul Luncașu to strike the kick off in the second half. When Silviu Hâjdău fell near the penalty area in the 53rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Jegheriste's protests and gave Silviu Hâjdău a yellow card for diving instead. In the 53rd match minute, Jegheriste was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Silviu Hâjdău to maneuver through the defense. When Călin Panțâru came up free with the goalie in the 58th minute, the Jegheriste fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Călin Panțâru couldn't finish the play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Călin Panțâru in the 64th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Martin Gorjanu saved Odoreul from getting behind. Martin Gorjanu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Călin Panțâru, who was totally free with the ball in the 65th minute. 66 minutes into the match, Odoreul's goal looked a bit too open when Călin Panțâru came free, but Martin Gorjanu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Andrei Şuplăcan made a fantastic save in the 76th minute, when Luca Bârsan sent off a good shot on target. Martin Gorjanu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Călin Panțâru in the 80th minute of play. Martin Gorjanu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Călin Panțâru in the 83rd minute of the match. If Paul Luncașu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 87th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Andrei Şuplăcan made a fantastic save in the 89th minute, when Luca Bârsan sent off a good shot on target. The audience thought a goal was coming when Luca Bârsan got free with Andrei Şuplăcan in the 96th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Odoreul's supporters were dissatisfied at the end of the match because Jegheriste had won, even though Odoreul had held more of the ball.
