Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Gemeni AFC's Gabriel Postolache started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Dan Troncotă recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 3rd minute. Utsahazu's Costin Martinescu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gabriel Postolache in the 6th minute of play. 7 minutes into the match, Gemeni AFC's goalkeeper Ionică Stoicănescu had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Robert Iordache. Ionică Stoicănescu came out of the goal in the 9th minute to try and stop a shot by Utsahazu's Robert Iordache. But to his dismay, Robert Iordache quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. Utsahazu's Costin Martinescu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mihnea Corbu in the 12th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Costin Ivănescu in the 13th minute of play forced Utsahazu's goalkeeper Costin Martinescu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 15th minute, Emanuel Urduban ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Costin Martinescu was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. In the 21st minute Emanuel Urduban shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Costin Martinescu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 22nd minute, Robert Iordache hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 26 minutes into the game, Gemeni AFC's Alex Tufescu nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Costin Martinescu made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-3. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Doru Bărbătescu to make the kick off. A collision led to Utsahazu getting a freekick after 53 minutes play. Doru Bărbătescu hit a great ball. In the 55th minute, Costin Ivănescu reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Costin Martinescu. The goal made the score 1-4. Mugur Foltea kicked well hit freekick during the 63rd minute of the match. Mugurel Mincu kicked well hit freekick during the 64th minute of the match. If Doru Bărbătescu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 65th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Gemeni AFC's Ionică Stoicănescu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mihail Oneț in the 67th minute of play. The audience was convinced that Mihnea Corbu's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Costin Martinescu was relentless in the 91st minute of the game. Gemeni AFC's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
