Remus Bot tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Dragosloveni's Remus Bot played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nils Alén in the 10th minute of play. After 10 played minutes Dragosloveni got a freekick which was hit by Petru Dascălu. Nils Alén recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 14th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Nils Alén in the 18th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Remus Bot prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When the match had gone on for 21 minutes, Nils Alén put it in 0-2 from a short distance just to the right of Remus Bot. Remus Bot showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dan Dichiseanu, who was totally free with the ball in the 23rd minute. 28 minutes into the match, Dragosloveni's goal looked a bit too open when Giancarlo García came free, but Remus Bot reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 30 minutes into the game, CSM Baia Mare -MM-'s Nils Alén nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Remus Bot made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-3. In the 32nd minute, Leonard Bota hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Remus Bot stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Nils Alén's shot from short distance in the 37th minute. When CSM Baia Mare -MM-'s Dan Dichiseanu in the 41st minute got a chance for a shot 41st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Dragosloveni's goalie prevented a goal. After having played for 44 minutes, Dan Dichiseanu managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. CSM Baia Mare -MM-'s supporters crossed their fingers, but Dan Dichiseanu was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Dragosloveni's zone, Giancarlo García stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Remus Bot came out of the goal and Giancarlo García tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-3 lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Nils Alén to strike the kick off in the second half. Dan Dichiseanu struck a weak shot in the 51st minute. Remus Bot didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for CSM Baia Mare -MM-. Nils Alén who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 54thth minute tested the skills of Remus Bot when he managed to save the team from getting behind. After a rather tough play, CSM Baia Mare -MM-'s Iustin Proca got a free kick in the 55th minute. After 57 played minutes CSM Baia Mare -MM- got a freekick which was hit by Besim Oyanalp. Nils Alén in the 60thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Remus Bot, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Petru Dascălu's late challenge caught a CSM Baia Mare -MM-'s player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Petru Dascălu helped the player get up and apologised. In the 61st minute, Petru Dascălu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Remus Bot made an important save on a dangerous shot by Dan Dichiseanu in the 65th minute. Sever Paulescu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mihai Burnei, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When CSM Baia Mare -MM-'s Nils Alén in the 73rd minute got a chance for a shot 73rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Dragosloveni's goalie prevented a goal. After 75 played minutes Dragosloveni got a freekick which was hit by Mihai Burnei. CSM Baia Mare -MM-'s Nils Alén was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 78th play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. CSM Baia Mare -MM-'s Dan Dichiseanu got a good chance for a goal in the 81st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The supporters of CSM Baia Mare -MM- booed when Dragosloveni was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 82 match minutes in a wonderful position. Doru Oblemenco didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 89th minute, Dan Dichiseanu ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Remus Bot was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-6. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Nils Alén in the 95th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Remus Bot prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The Dragosloveni fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. CSM Baia Mare -MM- were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
