George Vidican stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Gelu Jurăscu's shot from short distance in the 3rd minute. Filip Costandin kicked well hit freekick during the 6th minute of the match. Gelu Jurăscu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 9th minute. George Vidican tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 14th minute of the match Emanuel Mazăre sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but George Vidican skillfully saved the ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Paul Stratulat during the 18th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 18th minute, Paul Stratulat hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 20 minutes of play, FC Andrei Romania's Remus Zogreanu made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. George Vidican was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 25th minute, Vilgot Abrahamsson ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Dirk Bouman was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. The audience thought a goal was coming when Remus Zogreanu got free with George Vidican in the 33rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 34 minutes, Emil Solibieda mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the F.C RVL and the FC Andrei Romania players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, F.C RVL's Emil Solibieda got a free kick in the 34th minute. After a rather tough play, FC Andrei Romania's Gigel Berca got a free kick in the 35th minute. 37 minutes into the game, Paul Musceleanu was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. FC Andrei Romania's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave F.C RVL the free kick. In the 37th minute, Paul Musceleanu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Iulian Tatulici came up free with the goalie in the 38th minute, the F.C RVL fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Iulian Tatulici couldn't finish the play. If Remus Zogreanu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 40th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After 41 minutes of play, F.C RVL's Filip Mușătescu made it 1-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Dirk Bouman was left in no man's land by his defense there! Filip Mușătescu scored 1-3 in the 45th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Dirk Bouman, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-3 lead.

The wind increased when Vilgot Abrahamsson made the kick off in the second half. In the 53rd minute Gelu Jurăscu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but George Vidican saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of FC Andrei Romania booed when F.C RVL was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 54 match minutes in a wonderful position. Emil Solibieda didn't get a good kick on the ball. F.C RVL's George Vidican played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Remus Zogreanu in the 54th minute of play. Filip Mușătescu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 59th minute. Dirk Bouman tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Remus Zogreanu recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 61st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Dirk Bouman showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Vintilă Encuțu, who was totally free with the ball in the 64th minute. George Vidican made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gelu Jurăscu in the 65th minute of play. If Gelu Jurăscu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 67th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Filip Mușătescu could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 69th minute of the match, but Dirk Bouman made a huge save. Dirk Bouman showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Vilgot Abrahamsson, who was totally free with the ball in the 70th minute. 71 minutes into the match, FC Andrei Romania's goalkeeper Dirk Bouman had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Filip Mușătescu. Filip Mușătescu in the 73rdth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Dirk Bouman, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Dirk Bouman made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Vilgot Abrahamsson in the 81st minute of play. George Vidican came out of the goal in the 84th minute to try and stop a shot by FC Andrei Romania's Remus Zogreanu. But to his dismay, Remus Zogreanu quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-3. After 91 played minutes Vintilă Encuțu rounded FC Andrei Romania's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 2-4. In the 94th minute, F.C RVL's Paul Stratulat seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Paul Stratulat the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of F.C RVL protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Paul Stratulat had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. When the final whistle sounded F.C RVL left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than FC Andrei Romania.
