Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Nistor Berca started the match with the kick off. Panait Ulici blasted a shot towards the goal in the 5th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Iustin Săvoiu having to make a save. Iustin Săvoiu stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Nistor Berca's shot from short distance in the 7th minute. Dacian Bacanu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Vintilă Hrib, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 19th minute, Gheorghe Mirciulescu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Dragoş Arseanu charged in rather forcefully in the 21st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Dragoş Arseanu the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Pahnesti FC's Dacian Bacanu proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 23rd minute of the match, managed to save Pahnesti FC from getting a goal against them. The supporters of Sumita booed when Pahnesti FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 30 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ioan Nicolescu didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 32nd minute of the match, Gabriel Chibulcutean got a very nice opportunity to score, but Dacian Bacanu was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. After some careless play in the Pahnesti FC defense, Gabriel Chibulcutean kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Dacian Bacanu. The Pahnesti FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Dacian Bacanu should have stopped the shot. Iustin Săvoiu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nistor Berca, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 46 minutes into the match, Sumita's goal looked a bit too open when Panait Ulici came free, but Iustin Săvoiu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

The wind increased when Iacob Alb made the kick off in the second half. After some fancy dribbling in the 54th minute, Marian Tache managed to get in a good position for a shot. Pahnesti FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Marian Tache was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Iustin Săvoiu breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Dacian Bacanu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gabriel Chibulcutean in the 56th minute of play. In the 57th minute, Pahnesti FC's Nistor Berca dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-1. After some careless play in the Sumita defense, Panait Ulici kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Iustin Săvoiu. The Sumita fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Iustin Săvoiu should have stopped the shot. Sumita's Iustin Săvoiu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cristian Bota in the 72nd minute of play. Dacian Bacanu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gheorghe Mirciulescu, who was totally free with the ball in the 73rd minute. Dacian Bacanu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gheorghe Mirciulescu in the 74th minute of the match. Iustin Săvoiu was a little too slow when Marian Tache got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 76th minute. The score was now 1-3. Dacian Bacanu stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Gabriel Chibulcutean's shot from short distance in the 79th minute. Sumita's Iustin Săvoiu proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 81st minute of the match, managed to save Sumita from getting a goal against them. In the 85th minute, Vintilă Hrib ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Dacian Bacanu was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-3. 92 minutes into the match, Gabriel Chibulcutean notched a goal, 3-3, to the right of Pahnesti FC's Dacian Bacanu. Dacian Bacanu was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it.
