Spectators: 7371 (Terracing: 5565, Seating: 1706, VIP seats: 100) Fc TAFT's Silviu Logofătu started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After 3 minutes of play, Halanga's Basarab Macavei made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Nechifor Căplescu was left in no man's land by his defense there! Doru Petruescu was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 11th minute. Fc TAFT's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. After a rather tough play, Halanga's Pavel Radovan got a free kick in the 13th minute. If Basarab Macavei had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 16th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When the match had gone on for 26 minutes, Silviu Logofătu put it in 1-2 from a short distance just to the right of Adam Bourceanu. Adam Bourceanu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Aron Greblă in the 30th minute of play. Basarab Macavei received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 32nd minute. Nechifor Căplescu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Basarab Macavei had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 38th minute, Silviu Logofătu got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Adam Bourceanu came out of the goal in the 46th minute to try and stop a shot by Fc TAFT's Doru Petruescu. But to his dismay, Doru Petruescu quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-2. The first half was very even, with the score at 2-2 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Basarab Macavei was the one to do the kick off. If Ciprian Bălțăteanu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 62nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 64 played minutes Basarab Macavei rounded Fc TAFT's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 2-3. Halanga's Adam Bourceanu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Doru Petruescu in the 68th minute of play. 69 minutes into the match, Halanga's goal looked a bit too open when Silviu Logofătu came free, but Adam Bourceanu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Doru Petruescu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 74th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Adam Bourceanu having to interfere. Ciprian Bălțăteanu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 76th minute. Nechifor Căplescu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Basarab Macavei fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 78th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nechifor Căplescu having to interfere. If Basarab Macavei had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 79th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 82 played minutes Fc TAFT got a freekick which was hit by Aron Greblă. Basarab Macavei received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 84th minute. Nechifor Căplescu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 89th minute, Ciprian Bălțăteanu managed to get in a good position for a shot. Halanga's supporters rose to their feet, but Ciprian Bălțăteanu was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Nechifor Căplescu breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The supporters of Fc TAFT booed when Halanga was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 95 match minutes in a wonderful position. Niculae Agrigoroaiei didn't get a good kick on the ball.
