After recieving a nice pass, Ramniceni UFC's Basarab Cămătaru tried to score from far away in the 28th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. After 39 minutes of play, FC Severin's Edgar Dănciulescu made it 1-4 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Viorel Ilarie was left in no man's land by his defense there! Călin Rogozea fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Matei Muraru having to interfere. Ionică Vasilescu kicked well hit freekick during the 46th minute of the match.

Doru Zgîrţa received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 51st minute. Viorel Ilarie tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, FC Severin's Petru Malcocea got a free kick in the 60th minute. In the 61st minute Basarab Cămătaru shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Matei Muraru saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A hard shot 63 in the game by Doru Zgîrţa from a close distance when the talented Viorel Ilarie managed to make a qualified save. Ramniceni UFC's players were relieved. Irinel Chifan could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 64th minute of the match, but Viorel Ilarie made a huge save. Viorel Ilarie stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Doru Zgîrţa's shot from short distance in the 65th minute. 66 minutes into the match, Ramniceni UFC's goalkeeper Viorel Ilarie had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Irinel Chifan. Ramniceni UFC's Viorel Ilarie proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 73rd minute of the match, managed to save Ramniceni UFC from getting a goal against them. In the 78th minute, Doru Zgîrţa left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The FC Severin fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-5. Viorel Ilarie made a fantastic save in the 85th minute, when Irinel Chifan sent off a good shot on target. Doru Zgîrţa who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 88thth minute tested the skills of Viorel Ilarie when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Edgar Dănciulescu received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Viorel Ilarie came out and tried to block the shot, but Edgar Dănciulescu slotted it home off the left post making it 1-6 in the 93rd minute. With his leg Viorel Ilarie managed to avoid a goal in the 96thth minute, when FC Severin's Doru Zgîrţa fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. FC Severin's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
