Spectators: 6723 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1723, VIP seats: 0) Lucrețiu Floricel started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. Lucrețiu Floricel took the ball and in the 3 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Remus Aaxiniei. Remus Aaxiniei dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Lucrețiu Floricel in the 6th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Remus Aaxiniei saved Vorovesti CSS from getting behind. Petre Georgescu might have been able to make a better finish in the 10th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Mugur Tudorică. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Petre Georgescu ran back to his position shaking his head. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 13th minute of the game. One of Cataleni AFC:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Vorovesti CSS:s goal. The supporters of Cataleni AFC booed when Vorovesti CSS was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 17 match minutes in a wonderful position. Iurie Homeag didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 19th minute, Lucrețiu Floricel ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Remus Aaxiniei was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-2. In the 24th minute, Lucrețiu Floricel left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Cataleni AFC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-3. Cataleni AFC's Iustinian Popârcea suffered a sore thigh after 26 minutes and couldn't finish the game. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Iurie Homeag during the 26th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Iurie Homeag hit a great freekick 27 minutes into the match.

The wind increased when Iustin Lăcătușu made the kick off in the second half. After a defensive mix-up in Vorovesti CSS's zone, Lucrețiu Floricel stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Remus Aaxiniei came out of the goal and Lucrețiu Floricel tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 54 minutes, Bogdan Cozorici mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Vorovesti CSS and the Cataleni AFC players grew even worse after the yellow card. If Petru Pivniceru had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 55th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Marcel Calboreanu came up free with the goalie in the 60th minute, the Cataleni AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Marcel Calboreanu couldn't finish the play. When Constantin Rădoi fell near the penalty area in the 62nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Cataleni AFC's protests and gave Constantin Rădoi a yellow card for diving instead. Iustin Lăcătușu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 63rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mugur Tudorică having to interfere. After 69 played minutes Cataleni AFC got a freekick which was hit by Matei Dumitru. Iustin Lăcătușu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 70th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Iustin Lăcătușu in the 72nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Mugur Tudorică prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Petru Pivniceru sent away a hard shot on goal in the 73rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Vorovesti CSS's Iustin Lăcătușu in the 76th minute got a chance for a shot 76th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Cataleni AFC's goalie prevented a goal. Petre Georgescu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 77th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mugur Tudorică having to interfere. Mugur Tudorică showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Iustin Lăcătușu in the 79th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Cataleni AFC's Matei Dumitru got a free kick in the 79th minute. Vorovesti CSS's Petre Georgescu got a good chance for a goal in the 80th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After a defensive mix-up in Cataleni AFC's zone, Iustin Lăcătușu stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Mugur Tudorică came out of the goal and Iustin Lăcătușu tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 90thth minute of the game Matei Dumitru who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Vorovesti CSS's Remus Aaxiniei was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 91 minutes into the match, Vorovesti CSS's goal looked a bit too open when Petru Pivniceru came free, but Remus Aaxiniei reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Matei Dumitru recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 92nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Cataleni AFC's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
