Spectators: 6647 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1500, VIP seats: 147) FCP Ploiesti's Doru Opriș started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 7th minute, Teddy Wejlebjerg left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The FCP Ploiesti fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-0. Thanks to some nice moves Teddy Wejlebjerg could shoot a difficult shot in the 10th minute, which Ştefan Nichita however easily saved by the left post. If Teddy Wejlebjerg had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 12th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, Dejani CF's Panait Zdrăilă got a free kick in the 14th minute. Ciprian Pitiș made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Olimpiu Butnaru in the 18th minute of play. In the 19th minute Olimpiu Butnaru shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ciprian Pitiș saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Teddy Wejlebjerg fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 21st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ştefan Nichita having to interfere. Ştefan Nichita didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Teddy Wejlebjerg went, in the 22nd minute, to the upper right corner, 3-0 was the resulting score. Ciprian Pitiș showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Olimpiu Butnaru, who was totally free with the ball in the 26th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Doru Opriș in the 28th minute of play forced Dejani CF's goalkeeper Ştefan Nichita to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Teddy Wejlebjerg got free with Ştefan Nichita in the 29th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Doru Opriș took the ball and in the 33 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Ştefan Nichita. Ştefan Nichita dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-0. Teddy Wejlebjerg fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 35th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ştefan Nichita having to interfere. After 36 minutes, Gavril Eniceicu mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the FCP Ploiesti and the Dejani CF players grew even worse after the yellow card. Ciprian Pitiș showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nae Voinea, who was totally free with the ball in the 40th minute. Ştefan Nichita came out of the goal in the 41st minute to try and stop a shot by FCP Ploiesti's Teddy Wejlebjerg. But to his dismay, Teddy Wejlebjerg quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 5-0. Olimpiu Butnaru kicked well hit freekick during the 47th minute of the match. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 5-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Nae Voinea was the one to do the kick off. Ciprian Pitiș showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nae Voinea in the 52nd minute of the match. Ciprian Pitiș made an important save on a dangerous shot by Olimpiu Butnaru in the 53rd minute. Petruț Radu could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 55th minute of the match, but Ciprian Pitiș made a huge save. Doru Opriș scored 6-0 in the 57th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Ştefan Nichita, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Dejani CF's Ştefan Nichita played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Teddy Wejlebjerg in the 60th minute of play. After 62 played minutes FCP Ploiesti got a freekick which was hit by Daniel Drăgoi. Ciprian Pitiș made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nae Voinea in the 63rd minute of play. 64 minutes into the game, Doru Opriș cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 7-0. Ştefan Nichita was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. With a little luck, FCP Ploiesti's Ciprian Pitiș got control of the ball when Petruț Radu tried to sneak it across the goal line. FCP Ploiesti's Ciprian Pitiș played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nae Voinea in the 76th minute of play. FCP Ploiesti's Ciprian Pitiș proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 81st minute of the match, managed to save FCP Ploiesti from getting a goal against them. Ştefan Nichita showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Doru Opriș in the 90th minute of the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Teddy Wejlebjerg in the 93rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ştefan Nichita prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 95th minute of the match, Olimpiu Butnaru got a very nice opportunity to score, but Ciprian Pitiș was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. In the 97th minute Teddy Wejlebjerg shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ştefan Nichita saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. For all the effort they put into the match, the Dejani CF players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for FCP Ploiesti.
