Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) 3 minutes into the match, Nedelea CS's Martin Minteuan sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Przemyslaw Babicki narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Panait Arnăutu received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Przemyslaw Babicki came out and tried to block the shot, but Panait Arnăutu slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 7th minute. After 14 minutes, Edgar Siniştean made it 1-1 with a short kick to the right side. Nedelea CS's Șerban Gheție tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. The supporters of Nedelea CS booed when AS PROGRESUL DOMNEŞTI was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 18 match minutes in a wonderful position. Olimpiu Amandiței didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Martin Minteuan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 25th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Przemyslaw Babicki was out of position in the 28 minute of play, and Codrin Ciolac capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Codrin Ciolac really showed his touch with that goal: 2-2. Panait Arnăutu struck a weak shot in the 33rd minute. Przemyslaw Babicki didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Nedelea CS. Panait Arnăutu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 35th minute. Przemyslaw Babicki tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 37 played minutes Nedelea CS got a freekick which was hit by Sorin Toader. In the 41st minute, Panait Arnăutu ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Przemyslaw Babicki was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-2. In the 44th minute, one of AS PROGRESUL DOMNEŞTI:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for AS PROGRESUL DOMNEŞTI. Przemyslaw Babicki had in the 46thth minute some difficulties stopping Corneliu Atanasiu's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. Panait Arnăutu received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Przemyslaw Babicki came out and tried to block the shot, but Panait Arnăutu slotted it home off the left post making it 4-2 in the 47th minute. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 4-2 at half-time.

The wind increased when Panait Arnăutu made the kick off in the second half. The attack was good, but when Edgar Siniştean in the 54th minute was about to shoot he didn't kick quite good enough and the ball went high over goal. In the 57th minute Martin Minteuan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Przemyslaw Babicki saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When the match had gone on for 58 minutes, Edgar Siniştean took a quick shot and it went in 4-3 without a chance for Șerban Gheție to make any attempt to save it. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Olimpiu Amandiței during the 64th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Olimpiu Amandiței kicked well hit freekick during the 64th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, AS PROGRESUL DOMNEŞTI's Olimpiu Amandiței got a free kick in the 67th minute. In the 68th minute of the match Corneliu Atanasiu shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Przemyslaw Babicki showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Nedelea CS's Șerban Gheție played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gavril Dragomiroiu in the 70th minute of play. In the 72nd minute the ball was on its way in behind AS PROGRESUL DOMNEŞTI's goalkeeper Przemyslaw Babicki, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Codrin Ciolac kicked well hit freekick during the 75th minute of the match. AS PROGRESUL DOMNEŞTI made a substitution. Gigi Golumbean replaced Adrian Vuia. A collision led to Nedelea CS getting a freekick after 77 minutes play. Codrin Ciolac hit a great ball. AS PROGRESUL DOMNEŞTI's Moise Gârneață was substituted for Dinu Dășanu. Martin Minteuan recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 81st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Przemyslaw Babicki made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sorin Toader in the 83rd minute of play. In the 86th minute, Martin Minteuan made a precise shot to the right of Przemyslaw Babicki. AS PROGRESUL DOMNEŞTI's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 5-3. Șerban Gheție made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Moise Gârneață in the 92nd minute of play. Nedelea CS's Șerban Gheție proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 94th minute of the match, managed to save Nedelea CS from getting a goal against them. 5-4 became the score in the 97th minute when Edgar Siniştean elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar.
