Petre Domuță fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 60th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Adrian Lăzărescu having to interfere. The referee ignored Arghis's protests and gave Petre Domuță a yellow card for diving instead. After 71 played minutes Arghis got a freekick which was hit by Petre Domuță. If Sorin Cotuțiu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 72nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 72 minutes into the game, Sorin Cotuțiu recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Adrian Buzatu. Sorin Cotuțiu showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-3. Sorin Cotuțiu struck a weak shot in the 80th minute. Adrian Buzatu didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for F.C Steaua Berca.
