Olimpiu Covaliu was out of position in the 40 minute of play, and Grigore Gabrea capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Grigore Gabrea really showed his touch with that goal: 2-0. 48 minutes into the match, Club Sportiv Constanta's goal looked a bit too open when Răzvan Bucurescu came free, but Grigore Vulturar reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

Tudor Bourceanu hit a great freekick 77 minutes into the match. Răzvan Bucurescu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 79th minute. Grigore Vulturar tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 81 minutes into the match, Nicodim Moscu had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Grigore Vulturar. Club Sportiv Constanta's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Nicodim Moscu was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-3. In the 85th minute, one of Goruia:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Goruia. The referee gave Club Sportiv Constanta a penalty, 87 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Emil Buligan, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Goruia's Olimpiu Covaliu. 3-3. In the 97th minute, Martin Zdrelea hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Olimpiu Covaliu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Albert Dinculescu in the 99th minute of play.
