Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Mihail Frențiu made the kick off which started today's match. Mugur Crețu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Stelian Butnaru in the 5th minute of the match. In the 6th minute Pompiliu Brășneanu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Silviu Bujor saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Octavian Chițan got free with Mugur Crețu in the 14th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Merii FCM's defense didn't have a chance, in the 16th minute, when Octavian Chițan scored to the left of an out of position Mugur Crețu, making the score, 1-0. Silviu Bujor showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mihail Frențiu in the 20th minute of the match. 21 minutes into the match, Mihail Frențiu notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of Heler's Silviu Bujor. Silviu Bujor was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After some fancy dribbling in the 32nd minute, Mircea Perișoară managed to get in a good position for a shot. Merii FCM's supporters rose to their feet, but Mircea Perișoară was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Silviu Bujor breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Heler's Silviu Bujor played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Emilian Bulcă in the 34th minute of play. After 34 minutes, Petrică Blidaru mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Heler and the Merii FCM players grew even worse after the yellow card. Petrică Blidaru hit a great freekick 35 minutes into the match. Mugur Crețu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Stelian Butnaru, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 45th minute, Mihail Frențiu left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Merii FCM fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-3. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 2-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.
The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Stelian Butnaru stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Stelian Butnaru kicked well hit freekick during the 53rd minute of the match. When the match had gone on for 55 minutes, Mircea Perișoară took a quick shot and it went in 2-4 without a chance for Silviu Bujor to make any attempt to save it. A collision led to Merii FCM getting a freekick after 65 minutes play. Iustin Beraru hit a great ball. Iosif Panaiteanu kicked well hit freekick during the 74th minute of the match. After having played for 77 minutes, Mircea Perișoară managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Merii FCM's supporters crossed their fingers, but Mircea Perișoară was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Sandu Oprea kicked well hit freekick during the 80th minute of the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Mihail Frențiu in the 81st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Silviu Bujor prevented the ball from getting in the gole. If Mihnea Tăutu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 85th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 87 minutes into the match, Stelian Butnaru had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Mugur Crețu. Merii FCM's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Stelian Butnaru was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-5. Mircea Perișoară could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 92nd minute of the match, but Silviu Bujor made a huge save. Silviu Bujor acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 94th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Pompiliu Brășneanu. Mugur Crețu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Stelian Butnaru, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The Heler fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Merii FCM were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
