In the 3rd match minute, Veceru CSM was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Eduard Buciu to maneuver through the defense. A collision led to Veceru CSM getting a freekick after 9 minutes play. Virgil Bârsescu hit a great ball. A hard shot 10 in the game by Narcis Vasilian from a close distance when the talented Vintilă Druga managed to make a qualified save. Veceru CSM's players were relieved. After 18 played minutes Bouveni got a freekick which was hit by Mihăiţă Fința. When Eduard Buciu fell near the penalty area in the 20th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Veceru CSM's protests and gave Eduard Buciu a yellow card for diving instead. Eduard Buciu kicked well hit freekick during the 21st minute of the match. The attack was good, but when Laurențiu Jurăscu in the 22nd minute was about to shoot he didn't kick quite good enough and the ball went high over goal. Cazimir Curta received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 25th minute. Flavius Moldoveanu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Iosif Acatincăi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 26th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, Bouveni's Lucrețiu Dragnea got a free kick in the 29th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cazimir Curta in the 32nd minute of play forced Bouveni's goalkeeper Flavius Moldoveanu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 33 minutes into the match, Veceru CSM's goal looked a bit too open when Laurențiu Jurăscu came free, but Vintilă Druga reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 33rd match minute, Veceru CSM was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Eduard Buciu to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cazimir Curta in the 36th minute of play forced Bouveni's goalkeeper Flavius Moldoveanu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Flavius Moldoveanu came out of the goal in the 38th minute to try and stop a shot by Veceru CSM's Iosif Acatincăi. But to his dismay, Iosif Acatincăi quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Iosif Acatincăi made a kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Laurențiu Jurăscu in the 53rd minute of play forced Veceru CSM's goalkeeper Vintilă Druga to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Petru Rogozanu hit a great freekick 54 minutes into the match. 57 minutes into the game, Iosif Acatincăi recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Flavius Moldoveanu. Iosif Acatincăi showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-2. When Eduard Buciu was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 59 minutes had been played. Narcis Vasilian's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Vintilă Druga read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 64th minute of play. Veceru CSM's Vintilă Druga played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Narcis Vasilian in the 69th minute of play. Laurențiu Jurăscu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 76th minute. Vintilă Druga tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 79th minute the ball was on its way in behind Veceru CSM's goalkeeper Vintilă Druga, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 80th minute, Cazimir Curta fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Flavius Moldoveanu, passed just outside the right post. In the 82nd match minute, Veceru CSM was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Virgil Bârsescu to maneuver through the defense. In the 83rdth minute of the game Narcis Vasilian who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Veceru CSM's Vintilă Druga was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Vintilă Druga came out of the goal in the 90th minute to try and stop a shot by Bouveni's Narcis Vasilian. But to his dismay, Narcis Vasilian quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-2. Mihăiţă Fința received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 94th minute. Vintilă Druga tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Laurențiu Jurăscu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 96th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. For all the effort they put into the match, the Veceru CSM players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Bouveni.
