When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Gică Agudin made a kick off. Liviu Paveliuc was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Augustin Eniceicu showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-4 in the 51 minute of play. In the 57th minute, Stiubieni CSM's Nechifor Pupăzan ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Liviu Paveliuc. The goalkeeper, Liviu Paveliuc, was totally fooled by Stiubieni CSM's Flavius Pașcanu, who 61 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. Stiubieni CSM's Denis Petruț got a good chance for a goal in the 68th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Nechifor Pupăzan was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 71st minute. Stiubieni CSM's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. If Augustin Eniceicu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 74th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Nechifor Pupăzan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 78th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Liviu Paveliuc having to interfere. When Matei Zaharia fell near the penalty area in the 81st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Matasoaia AS's protests and gave Matei Zaharia a yellow card for diving instead. Matei Zaharia hit a great freekick 81 minutes into the match. In the 85th match minute, Stiubieni CSM was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Denis Petruț to maneuver through the defense. Denis Petruț fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 97th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Liviu Paveliuc having to interfere. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Stiubieni CSM walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
