Dragoş Fetea tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The STEAUA fans' excitement grew in the 17th match minute when STEAUA's Razvan Rizea looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mihai Podaru in the 20th minute of play forced Amaru AFC's goalkeeper Dragoş Fetea to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Razvan Rizea sent away a hard shot on goal in the 21st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Dragoş Fetea showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mihai Podaru in the 23rd minute of the match. In the 25th minute, Răzvan Urdea left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The STEAUA fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-0. With a little luck, Amaru AFC's Dragoş Fetea got control of the ball when Razvan Rizea tried to sneak it across the goal line. A collision led to Amaru AFC getting a freekick after 33 minutes play. Codrin Rizescu hit a great ball. In the 34th minute, Mihai Podaru got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Nichifor Boșneag hit a great freekick 35 minutes into the match. Dragoş Fetea showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mihai Podaru in the 43rd minute of the match. 47 minutes into the match, Amaru AFC's goalkeeper Dragoş Fetea had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Razvan Rizea. Af the end of the first half the score was 3-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The wind increased when Mihai Podaru made the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd minute, Nicolae Stanca got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Razvan Rizea in the 53rd minute of play forced Amaru AFC's goalkeeper Dragoş Fetea to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Amaru AFC's Dragoş Fetea played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Razvan Rizea in the 55th minute of play. Dragoş Fetea showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mihai Podaru, who was totally free with the ball in the 61st minute. Dragoş Fetea showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mihai Podaru in the 84th minute of the match. Dragoş Fetea took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mihai Podaru, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Dragoş Fetea showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Razvan Rizea, who was totally free with the ball in the 90th minute. Emanuel Bădila fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 93rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Artemio Fertus having to interfere. When the referee ended the match the STEAUA players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
