Ştefan Novac sent away a hard shot on goal in the 24th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ştefan Novacs short, quick shot in the 25thth minute got Victor Vâtcu to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. A collision led to U CLUJ 2007 getting a freekick after 29 minutes play. Dacian Dumitrescu hit a great ball. In the 31st minute, Sever Ivașcu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 35 minutes into the match, U CLUJ 2007's goal looked a bit too open when Leontin Surugiu came free, but Avram Agudin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, U CLUJ 2007's Ştefan Novac got a free kick in the 37th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cristian Jivulescu in the 39th minute of play forced U CLUJ 2007's goalkeeper Avram Agudin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Avram Agudin showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cristian Jivulescu in the 42nd minute of the match. In the 43rd minute, U CLUJ 2007's Corneliu Pora ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Victor Vâtcu. Victor Vâtcu yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-1. Corneliu Pora received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 48th minute. Victor Vâtcu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Leontin Surugiu stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Leontin Surugiu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 53rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ştefan Novac received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 58th minute. Victor Vâtcu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Tagmanesta AS's zone, Ştefan Novac stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Victor Vâtcu came out of the goal and Ştefan Novac tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Corneliu Pora recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 64th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Petru Visarion had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 71st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Avram Agudin showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Leontin Surugiu in the 73rd minute of the match. A hard shot 76 in the game by Leontin Surugiu from a close distance when the talented Avram Agudin managed to make a qualified save. U CLUJ 2007's players were relieved. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
