Eusebiu Ghioane stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Sorin Ghiondea's shot from short distance in the 29th minute. Petru Patriciu made a fantastic save in the 32nd minute, when Mihnea Ponor sent off a good shot on target. Eusebiu Ghioane showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Calistrat Fecioru in the 34th minute of the match. Sorin Ghiondea took the ball and in the 35 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Eusebiu Ghioane. Eusebiu Ghioane dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. Andrei Micescu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 39th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Calistrat Fecioru had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 42 minutes into the game, Hagotoalja's Liviu Şoimu nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Eusebiu Ghioane made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-2.

The wind increased when Sorin Ghiondea made the kick off in the second half. Luncan's Eusebiu Ghioane played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Doru Hâjdău in the 54th minute of play. In the 56th minute, Mihnea Ponor ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Petru Patriciu was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-2. Liviu Şoimu recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 59th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a rather tough play, Luncan's Tiberiu Romoşan got a free kick in the 59th minute. Sorin Ghiondea sent away a hard shot on goal in the 61st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After having played for 63 minutes, Doru Hâjdău managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Hagotoalja's supporters crossed their fingers, but Doru Hâjdău was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 64th minute, Tiberiu Romoşan left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Luncan fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-2. In the 75th minute, Filip Amitroaiei hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Sorin Ghiondea took the ball and in the 83 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Eusebiu Ghioane. Eusebiu Ghioane dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-3. Calistrat Fecioru sent away a hard shot on goal in the 87th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Calistrat Fecioru during the 89th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Petru Patriciu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ciprian Siadbei, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After having played for 96 minutes, Ciprian Siadbei managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Luncan's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ciprian Siadbei was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Hagotoalja were clearly unhappy with the draw, as they felt they had done enough to earn themselves a victory.
