Spectators: 6470 (Terracing: 5400, Seating: 1040, VIP seats: 30) U1948 Craiova's Stelian Daimacă started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. 6 minutes into the match, Ireasca's goalkeeper Ionuț Crivoi had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Stelian Daimacă. In the 11th minute, Adrian Burdea made a precise shot to the right of Cristi Amitroaiei. U1948 Craiova's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. Stelian Daimacă fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 15th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ionuț Crivoi having to interfere. Daniel Melo's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Ionuț Crivoi read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 20th minute of play. When Iosif Durbacă fell near the penalty area in the 22nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Ireasca's protests and gave Iosif Durbacă a yellow card for diving instead. Stelian Daimacă sent away a hard shot on goal in the 25th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 26th minute, Daniel Melo fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. Ionuț Crivoi was a little too slow when Daniel Melo got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 28th minute. The score was now 1-1. 2-1 became the score in the 35th minute when Marin Mironescu elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. When Stelian Daimacă came up free with the goalie in the 40th minute, the U1948 Craiova fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Stelian Daimacă couldn't finish the play. Stelian Daimacă fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ionuț Crivoi having to interfere. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-1 at half-time.

Marin Mironescu might have been able to make a better finish in the 51st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Ionuț Crivoi. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Marin Mironescu ran back to his position shaking his head. 56 minutes into the match, Daniel Melo notched a goal, 3-1, to the right of Ireasca's Ionuț Crivoi. Ionuț Crivoi was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. When Stelian Daimacă came up free with the goalie in the 59th minute, the U1948 Craiova fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Stelian Daimacă couldn't finish the play. Iordache Basarabescu kicked well hit freekick during the 71st minute of the match. After 72 played minutes, U1948 Craiova's Stelian Daimacă shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Ionuț Crivoi came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in U1948 Craiova reached it. The U1948 Craiova fans' excitement grew in the 74th match minute when U1948 Craiova's Stelian Daimacă looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 4-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Stelian Daimacă took the ball and in the 78 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Ionuț Crivoi. Ionuț Crivoi dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 5-1. The U1948 Craiova fans' excitement grew in the 84th match minute when U1948 Craiova's Marin Mironescu looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 6-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Cristi Amitroaiei made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Iosif Durbacă in the 88th minute of play. After having played for 96 minutes, Stelian Daimacă managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. U1948 Craiova's supporters crossed their fingers, but Stelian Daimacă was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. U1948 Craiova had played much better football throughout.
