Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Sorin Roşulescu took the kick off in the first half of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Marin Beșliu in the 2nd minute of play forced Gradinele CSM's goalkeeper Petru Antonescu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 7th match minute, Gradinele CSM was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Robert Covaliu to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Petru Ecobescu in the 10th minute of play forced Gradinele CSM's goalkeeper Petru Antonescu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Iustinian Hojbota hit a great freekick 17 minutes into the match. After a rather tough play, Poplaca FCM's Codrin Encea got a free kick in the 18th minute. Gigel Arvinte was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 24 minutes into the match. Gigel Arvinte kicked well hit freekick during the 24th minute of the match. In the 25th minute, Robert Covaliu got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After a rather tough play, Gradinele CSM's Iustinian Hojbota got a free kick in the 29th minute. In the 31st minute, Gradinele CSM's Iustinian Hojbota ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Cristinel Cluceru. Cristinel Cluceru yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-0. Grigore Pandele received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Cristinel Cluceru came out and tried to block the shot, but Grigore Pandele slotted it home off the left post making it 3-0 in the 36th minute. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Aurelian Peptan was the one to do the kick off. After 60 minutes of play, Poplaca FCM's Aurelian Peptan made it 3-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Petru Antonescu was left in no man's land by his defense there! After 68 minutes, Valentin Tapalagă mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Poplaca FCM and the Gradinele CSM players grew even worse after the yellow card. Gradinele CSM made a substitution. Nicolae Jecu replaced Petru Buligan. Grigore Pandele recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 72nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 77 minutes in the game Ciprian Crăiniceanu did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Petru Ecobescu. Petru Ecobescu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 78th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 81 minutes into the game, Sorin Roşulescu cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 4-1. Cristinel Cluceru was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After 85 minutes of play, Gradinele CSM's Grigore Pandele made it 5-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Cristinel Cluceru was left in no man's land by his defense there! Aurelian Peptan kicked well hit freekick during the 87th minute of the match. After 90 played minutes Poplaca FCM got a freekick which was hit by Marin Beșliu. Sorin Roşulescu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 94th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Gradinele CSM's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
