Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Poplaca FCM's Marin Beșliu started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Cristinel Cluceru showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Valentin Titulescu, who was totally free with the ball in the 3rd minute. With a little luck, Olosig CF's Liviu Ioanițiu got control of the ball when Petru Ecobescu tried to sneak it across the goal line. Valentin Tapalagă hit a great freekick 13 minutes into the match. Cristinel Cluceru took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dinu Cernat, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 31st match minute, Olosig CF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dinu Cernat to maneuver through the defense. Aurelian Peptan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 38th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 43 minutes into the match, Poplaca FCM's Marin Beșliu sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Liviu Ioanițiu narrowly saved just below the crossbar. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

If Aurelian Peptan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 58th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 65 minutes into the match, Dinu Cernat had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Cristinel Cluceru. Poplaca FCM's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Dinu Cernat was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-1. If Dinu Cernat had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 69th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Olosig CF's Liviu Ioanițiu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Aurelian Peptan in the 80th minute of play. The supporters of Poplaca FCM booed when Olosig CF was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 81 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dinu Cernat didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Valentin Tapalagă fell near the penalty area in the 86th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Poplaca FCM's protests and gave Valentin Tapalagă a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Olosig CF booed when Poplaca FCM was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 86 match minutes in a wonderful position. Valentin Tapalagă didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 88th minute, Dinu Cernat ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Cristinel Cluceru was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-2. Cristinel Cluceru was a little too slow when Iacob Alupoaie got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 93rd minute. The score was now 4-3. In the 97th minute, Marin Beșliu made a precise shot to the right of Liviu Ioanițiu. Olosig CF's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 5-3. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Poplaca FCM had played much better football throughout.
