Spectators: 7374 (Terracing: 5532, Seating: 1695, VIP seats: 147) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Tiberiu Zberea started the match with the kick off. In the 3rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Club13's goalkeeper Claudiu Mutu, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Gică Copils short, quick shot in the 5thth minute got Mihai Blăjan to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Club13's Tiberiu Zberea got a good chance for a goal in the 6th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Silviu Iriza recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 8th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Sever Jivulescu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 10th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. With a little luck, Golgofta CSS's Mihai Blăjan got control of the ball when Gică Copil tried to sneak it across the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Golgofta CSS's zone, Tiberiu Zberea stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Mihai Blăjan came out of the goal and Tiberiu Zberea tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 15th match minute, Golgofta CSS was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Basarab Todericiu to maneuver through the defense. The audience was convinced that Tiberiu Zberea's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Mihai Blăjan was relentless in the 17th minute of the game. Mihai Blăjan took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tiberiu Zberea, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 20th minute Tiberiu Zberea shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mihai Blăjan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Tiberiu Zberea had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 27th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tiberiu Zberea in the 31st minute of play forced Golgofta CSS's goalkeeper Mihai Blăjan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 34 minutes, Silviu Iriza mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Club13 and the Golgofta CSS players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 34th minute, Silviu Iriza hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Tiberiu Zberea sent away a hard shot on goal in the 39th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Sever Jivulescu to strike the kick off in the second half. 51 minutes into the match, Golgofta CSS's goal looked a bit too open when Tiberiu Zberea came free, but Mihai Blăjan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Basarab Todericiu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 56th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Mihai Blăjan took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tiberiu Zberea, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Basarab Todericiu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 60th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Claudiu Mutu having to interfere. If Sever Jivulescu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 64th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Club13's Claudiu Mutu proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 66th minute of the match, managed to save Club13 from getting a goal against them. If Tiberiu Zberea had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 69th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Gică Copil sent away a hard shot on goal in the 70th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The supporters of Club13 booed when Golgofta CSS was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 73 match minutes in a wonderful position. Basarab Todericiu didn't get a good kick on the ball. Gică Copil received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 79th minute. Mihai Blăjan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Claudiu Mutu made an important save on a dangerous shot by Sever Jivulescu in the 83rd minute. In the 87th minute, Golgofta CSS's Basarab Todericiu ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Claudiu Mutu. Claudiu Mutu yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-1. If Tiberiu Zberea had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 97th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Golgofta CSS's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
